5 different modular patches, recorded directly on analog cassette. For the sessions Radi Parkplatz transported their gear to festival tent in a forest. The dark woods resonate in the lush electronic improvisations. They chose several cloud names to match the atmosphere: slowly transforming analog soundlines with a steady bass-pace.

Radio Parkplatz is a modular synth, live techno project. Two pilots of this spaceship are Niels Vermeulen and Jurgen van Harskamp. Together they push cv voltages around on two modular systems and create raw, hypnotic, dark and euphoric techno momentums.
The second in the compilation series from constantly reliable Amsterdam label Basserk is another rich pack of almost-entirely-instrumental house, electro and danceable techno that stays just on the right side of wonky and looks out across the view.

This EP contains four tracks that have arisen in both a distant past and in recent history. 'We Measure The Distance With Time' is a statement by a very enthusiastic star and celestial fanatic who, somewhere in the Chilean desert, tried to explain to me how intense the universe is. This tracks form for me the soundtrack that suits the distance in time between me and the speed of our society…
Jor Mesin makes electronic music that varies in style and tempo from atmospheric IDM to gritty trip hop. Important ingredients are always melodic textures that occur from sampled material or sound design.

Koblenz is Peter a Beeker and Woods on Fire collaboration. This band makes noisy indie rock and immediately sets high. Bouncing like Dinosaur Jr., then thoughtful and fluid as dEUS in their better years. Guitar eruptions, cross arrangements and dark electronics fight for priority. Hi-fi with a lo-fi attitude. Songs as big as life itself. About existential discomfort, departure and return, fall and triumph.

Much like Radiohead and The Notwist, Woods on Fire like to studiously incorporate both acoustic and electronic sounds into something unorthodox. These Utrecht-based art rockers, however, employ an entirely different dynamic. Instead of compressing subtle artifice and stirring prog rock passages into a dense fluidity, Woods on Fire’s songs expand like majestic sonic landfills. The LP was recorded at Einstürzende Neubauten’s legendary Berlin-based Andere Baustelle Studio.
